Dark or discoloured teeth

Darkening/yellowing of teeth with age; Teeth naturally darken as we get older and can easily be ‘whitened’ for a more youthful appearance. Internal staining and discolouration in adult teeth can have many causes including high fever or certain medications taken in childhood. Chipped or misshapen teeth

Available treatments include crown lengthening, where excess gum tissue is removed to expose more tooth structure, or by grafting, where gum tissue is added to the base of the tooth to give the appearance of shorter teeth.

Crowding, wide spacing, tipping or poorly positioned teeth

There are a number of treatment options to help correct poor tooth position. While improving the look of a smile, correction of tooth position can also help reduce the risk of periodontal (gum) disease, redistribute the biting forces that can cause tooth breakage and help alleviate clenching, grinding and pain of the jaw joint.
